Maranya is not a product but a participatory experience that we create together. That means that for a couple of days everyone is invited to be a part of Maranya either as a volunteer or proposing an activity, workshop or musical performance.
Maranya invites us to live in the moment and express ourselves as we are, each of us in our own unique way – a fun space to connect with ourselves, others and nature.
As you enjoy the sunshine and surroundings, feeling inspired by ecological designs and like-minded people, we invite you to remember the importance of play and celebration by participating in games, river fun and dancing under the stars.
We aim to overcome the barriers that exist between us and see the reality of those around us in this space for personal transformation and new connections between people and projects.
Our goal is for the event to be as ecological as possible. We invite you to use resources responsibly, protect the environment, use water with care and leave no trace (such as cigarette butts, plastic bags, etc.). We hope that all yellow, blue and green garbage bags can be recycled after the event. You can help by separating carefully. Smokers are asked to dispose of cigarettes VERY CAREFULLY in the provided ashtrays (there is a high risk of fires in this area).
We believe in union over division and solidarity amongst people, including those less fortunate than us/oppressed/ minority groups.
Our inspiring and diverse workshops offer an educational element to increase awareness about our environment and selves.
Not for profit
Maranya is an event organised by volunteers. All income will be invested in creating a great event this year and in the future. The accounts will be published after the festival.
This event will be an inclusive space that respects human diversity in all its forms and accepts people regardless of gender, sexuality, race etc.
